There is a great news for Microsoft XBOX one fans and owners as Microsoft has confirmed the release of new games this year. Long-awaited fans can now play and experience the latest games which they were waiting to play since the games got released on Play Station 4 and PC. Microsoft XBOX one finally catches up with Play Station 4 with the release of new games.

Microsoft has always been slow in releasing games for XBOX One unlike Sony which releases the games much sooner. Microsoft is also releasing the  ‘XBOX Game Pass’ which is similar to Netflix’s subscription service which will let you download a number of XBOX games as soon as they come out without having to actually buy the game.

There are nearly 20 games releasing that you can play in 2017 with some pretty well-known games coming up like Call Of Duty World War 2, Destiny 2, Battlefront 2, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, Final Fantasy Xll – The Zodiac age, Splatoon 2 and What Remains of Edith Finch.

Call of Duty World War 2 is releasing on 3rd November for XBOX One. It is the latest game by Activision in the Call of Duty series. This game has the same fast-paced first person shooter experience. It has a Zombie mode and some new additions have been made to the game. The story as its name suggests is based on World War 2. It also has its traditional multiplayer mode. The gameplay is pretty awesome and the graphics are really pleasing. This time the game is developed by Sledgehammer.

Destiny 2, another big game is releasing for XBOX One on 6th September. It is an online first person multiplayer shooting game. It is a sequel to 2014’s Destiny. There are some new features added to the game like a new solo campaign called ‘Red War’. A new strike mission, known as the ‘Inverted Spire’ has been added.

Another upcoming title ‘What Remains of Edith Finch’ developed by Giant Sparrow is releasing very soon however no specific date was mentioned for XBOX One. The story is based on a girl named ‘Edith’ and a cursed family. We play as Edith to explore around and find why Edith is the only one alive in her family. The Creative Director at the Giant Sparrow Ian Dallas says: “There are definitely things that we have taken away from what other games have done, generally and specifically. Even things as basic as if we should cap the PC frame rate at 30fps, It’s something we were talking about at one point and it’s not something that you really notice for most of the game. The way that the game works, 60 vs 30 would be almost indistinguishable.”

The ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2018’ developed by PES Productions is releasing on September 14. The Demo for the game has been released and the pre-orders for the game are available. This game series is one of the best in sports line up. The gameplay is excellent and the graphics are very realistic in the demo. The game will have UEFA Champions League Match Attax. The Pro Evolution Soccer never sells as well as FIFA but this it seems like it is gonna blow out FIFA, as Konami has signed the deal with Topps Trading Cards.

The Final Fantasy Xll – The Zodiac age is an improved version of the original game released for Play Station 2 in 2006. The release date for XBOX One has not yet been announced but it will be launched anytime later this year. It is a Fantasy role-playing game. The game has been remastered and has some pretty good visuals and notable differences. The trailer for the game has been released.

Forza is known for its ultra realistic graphics. The game will be featured with 700 cars. There will be 30 locations on which you can race on. Two additional features are added to the game including customizable racers and dynamic weather.

These are some of the top notch games that will be releasing this year. The fans are pretty excited to try these games out, the pre-orders are selling out fast.

Microsoft is also releasing their XBOX One X – Microsoft’s Project Scorpio on 7th November 2017. This will be their high-end 4K gaming console. This gaming beast will cost around $499.
