A brief look into the spec sheet
There aren’t that many details provided by Google about both Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. Despite this, the leakers have given some insight as to what we can expect. The Pixel 4a 5G will be rocking Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which offers more power than it’s predecessors Snapdragon 730G processor.
The phone will include a dual-camera setup at the back with improved sensors. Pixel 4a 5g will be available in traditional black and white colors. There is no concrete evidence regarding the screen size yet. However, Jason C. on twitter claims that it may vary from 5.8 to 6.1 inches.
-It is my understanding at this time that the 4a 5G will be 5.81 to 6.1 inch.
Information persist the Pixel 5 will only be available in 6.67 inch

As far as Pixel 5 is concerned, so far we know it will support Snapdragon 750G. This might sound surprising for a flagship phone, but if it gets the job done, there won’t be any concerns. Pixel 5 will have a 6.67 inches screen (possibly with a refresh rate of 120Hz) and will be available in black and green colors.
We can also expect a much better camera from Pixel 5 with better sensors as well as improved components and water/dust proofing, to justify the price gap between its non-flagship phone Pixel 4a 5G.
How much can I buy it for?
So far Google has only discerned the price for Pixel 4a 5G. after the launch the phone will retail for $499 in the US. This seems like a good buy if you don’t want to put a dent in your pocket but still want something better than Pixel 4a. As far as the prices for Pixel 5 are concerned, Google has put a tight lid on the topic. Regardless, leaks suggest that it will retail in the $600 ballpark.
Is waiting for Pixel 4a 5G over Pixel 4a worth it?
With the information at hand, we can tell Pixel 4a 5G will provide better benchmarks, as you would expect. However, the gap between the performance of both phones is not known. The phone will offer faster speeds, better battery life, dual cameras at the back as compared to a single one, and possibly a bigger screen.

If these benefits over the old phone attract you and adding an extra $150 doesn’t bother you, then you should definitely wait. Pixel 4 is targeted for consumers who want a budget phone while Pixel 4a 5G is slightly above the budget phone market.
So far this is all the information we have on the upcoming phones from Google. We’ll have to wait for a few weeks for Google to speak about the phones unless we get another leak.
