The Season 3 brings all the new exciting updates; there are even more tiers to play which will unlock different items, outfits, emotes and more as you go. The Season 3 Battle Pass theme has shifted from medieval to Outer Space.
The game has been hand-tuned for each console to provide an extra-smooth gaming experience while maintaining visual fidelity. You will get the best experience with the new 60 FPS mode support.
Let’s dive down and take a proper look at what the Fortnite Season 3 has to offer for your hard earned work or money.
• What Is Battle Pass?
For those who are new to this game; Battle Pass is a mode which you play to win exclusive loot. You can use this loot to earn or buy new tiers to unlock different game items.
There are 30 new tiers added in Season 3 bringing the total number of tiers to 100. The gameplay though is still the same amount of time as the Season 2 Battle Pass (typically 75-150 hours).
You can buy Season 3 using the game money which will cost 950 V-Bucks which comes to around £7/$10. Buying the game will instantly unlock some great in-game rewards and items including the all new Mission Specialist Outfit. You can unlock even more items and outfits by further progressing in the Battle Pass.
• New Outfits And Rewards:
The Fortnite Season 3 brings total 6 new outfits for the player to unlock. The first is the Mission Specialist Outfit which you get right after you buy the game. Other outfits include an all black bad ass looking astronaut, Jason Wick, a female astronaut, a female stealth solider and a guy wearing a bunch of Epic Games stuff including an Unreal badge on his jacket.
There are three new Back Blings which everyone was confused about after watching the teasers. They basically are just cosmetic backpacks for your character and have no impact on your inventory.

You also get three new pickaxes to unlock which follow the same space theme; they have a little rocket at the head. Three new gliders have been added. However, if you are looking for the new hoverboard, that is available in Save The World mode only.
New loading screens have been added along with five skydiving fx trails. There are a total of 76 items available to unlock including outfits, emotes and gliders.
• Weekly Challenges:
The New Weekly Challenges will help you tier up even more quickly. There will be seven challenges for each week which will replace the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. You will need to complete at least four challenges out of seven to unlock any special items or rewards; these challenges can be completed any time before the season ends.
• Other Updates And Improvements:
The Sub Machine Gun has been moved to the vault this means that it is no longer available to use in the game. Some other items will also be moved to the vault as time goes on to make sure the game stays balanced while they continue to add more new weapons.
New game modes have been added including the limited time game mode and a new blitz mode which will have shorter matches to make the speed that you move around the map even more crucial. There is also a larger team mode where players have less time between each circle.
A bug in the game has been fixed; Essentially, pump shotguns have a long reload time to balance out their high damage, but the players discovered that switching weapons quickly would negate this.
Building Improvements have been made in the Automatic Material Swapping, Turbo Building, Build Through Stuff and Switching Building Pieces. On top of this, there are other plenty more changes and hotfixes.
