If you’re looking for a new game to play solo this Valentine’s Day, then Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor might be the perfect choice for you. Developed by Funday Games, this auto-shooter spin-off is inspired by Vampire Survivors and is now available in Steam Early Access.
One of the main differences between Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and the original game is the three-quarters viewpoint, as well as the lack of co-op gameplay. However, players will still be able to choose from the same four classes with three subclasses, just like in the original game.
With 40 weapons, 20 enemy types, and three biomes, there’s plenty of content to keep players engaged. And with a 10% discount currently available, the game is retailing for $9 on Steam.
But this isn’t the only spin-off in the works for the Deep Rock Galactic franchise. Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, a roguelite shooter similar to Risk of Rain 2, is also in development by Ghost Ship, the developer of the original game. It seems that there’s plenty of content on the horizon for fans of the Deep Rock Galactic series.
In addition to the discount currently available, there are plans to add even more features to Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor in the future. Developer Funday Games is planning to add a biome, daily missions, an endless mode, and more, giving players even more reasons to check out this new spin-off.
There’s a lot to look forward to for fans of the franchise, so if you’re a fan of Deep Rock Galactic, be sure to keep an eye out for all the new content that’s on the way.
Opinion:
As a fan of the original Deep Rock Galactic game, I’m excited to see what the spin-off, Survivor, has to offer. The prospect of a solo auto-shooter with new features and content is definitely appealing, and the 10% discount on Steam makes it even more enticing. With the addition of new biomes, daily missions, and an endless mode in the future, it’s clear that Funday Games has big plans for this spin-off. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this title as it continues to evolve and grow.
