Finally the last on our list is the AOC U2879VF which is the cheapest way to get Ultra HD on your desktop. It even includes free sync for gaming enthusiasts and a factory calibration for the professional user.

Starting up with the design, unlike most of the extravagant looking 4K models you’ve probably seen AOC went in the opposite direction with the U2879VF which sports a rather simple design with the cabinet having 2 tones comprised of matte on one side and glossy on the other. It features adequately thin bezels at 17 millimeters surrounding the screen with an unnoticeable matte Ag coating that does its job fairly well.

Furthermore, this particular model also has backlighting which is flicker free so users that are sensitive to pulse width modulation will have less eye fatigue. Moreover judging from the pricing alone we can safely conclude that the AOC U2879VF was meant to be an entry-level all-rounder monitor which can partly be used for gaming or professional uses. If you’re looking for a 28-inch affordable free-sync monitor then this is your best choice.
