After the rise of PUBG: Mobile and Fortnite during the last couple of years, we’ve seen a resurgence in AAA mobile phone games. Now, phones are getting to the point where they are able to deliver a proper console-like gaming experience on the go. While there are tons of mainstream console-like games out right now, many developers think that the mobile phone market is still far from being saturated.
We’ve already seen major franchises like The Elder Scrolls and Mario Kart move to mobile. However, the latest entrant into the mobile gaming market, Call of Duty: Mobile, takes things to a whole new level.
Developed by Tencent Games, Call of Duty Mobile brings the signature fast-paced first-person shooter experience of the Call of Duty franchise to mobile phones. It has most of the familiar game modes from the franchise including Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, and Search and Destroy. The game also features some of the most famous Call of Duty maps like Nuketown, Frontline and Crash.
How to Download Call of Duty: Mobile on iOS & Android

How to download Call of Duty: Mobile in unsupported regions
While it is out right now in most regions around the world, there are still a few in which players are not able to access the game, especially on iOS. If you happen to be in one of the unsupported regions and can’t seem to find the game on your app store, you can still download the game. On Android, you can sideload the game and download an apk file for it. However, since you can’t do that on an iOS device, you need to change the region for your Apple ID instead. Here’s how to do that:
- Go to Settings, tap on your name and navigate to the ‘iTunes and App Store’ menu.
- Tap on your Apple ID and then tap the ‘View Apple ID’ option. Sign into your account if you have to.
- Tap the ‘Country/Region’ option and then select ‘Change Country or Region’.
- Select a new Country/Region and agree to the terms and conditions.
- The game should now appear in your App Store.
We recommend using a US-based region to download and play the game.
Minimum Requirements
Since the new shooter from Tencent Games has some of the most stunning and gorgeous visuals for a mobile game, it is bound to be demanding. However, from our testing, it seems like Tencent has done a pretty good job at optimizing the game, thanks to their previous experience with PUBG: Mobile.
To run the game smoothly, you’re going to need a device with at least 2 GB of RAM and a decent processor. Most devices running Android 6.0 and up, or iOS 7 and up. It would be safe to say that if your device is capable of running PUBG: Mobile, you can probably run this on it as well.
