2. Arise: A Simple Story
Indie games have always done well on the PlayStation. We’ve seen some of the finest indie games come during recent times on the PlayStation like Ori and the Blind Forest and Journey. Arise follows a similar formula to those blockbuster games.
Packed with beautiful environments and breathtaking sights, Arise follows our protagonist on what seems like a very spiritual journey towards something important. With an equally magnificent soundtrack, Arise has potential to be one of the most beautiful games to come out on the PS4. You can check out its trailer down below.
3. PlayStation VR:
Sony has been trying to push its PlayStation VR platform for a while now. PSVR has been pretty successful thanks to it being cheaper than other VR solutions. At State of Play, Sony announced a bunch of new titles for the PSVR. However, what took the main stage was LA Noire VR, which is one of the best VR experiences available right now. LA Noire is already a great game and playing it in VR definitely improves the overall immersion and experience.
4. Civilization VI:
Sid Meier’s Civilization is one of the best strategy games on PC. However, the complexity of the series has always made it hard for the developers to port it over to console. However, the newest game from the series, Civilization VI, is finally making its move to console on the PS4. You can watch the trailer down below.
5. Death Stranding Limited Edition PS4:
Made by the legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding is one of the highest anticipated games of this generation. The game is so different from everything else out right now and could potentially prove to be a genre defining game. We wouldn’t expect anything less from Hideo Kojima either.
