In the lead-up to their minecart-riding escapade, Luis and Leon find themselves ensnared in a blast furnace and at the mercy of two towering Gigantes, one of which is encased in formidable steel armor, presenting a tough challenge. Nevertheless, there is a ray of hope. By working together, Luis can offer crucial assistance enabling Leon to eliminate both giants with effortless ease merely by pressing a button.

In Resident Evil 4’s initial version, players faced a daunting boss fight in which Leon was left to fend off two powerful Gigantes. In the remake, however, the developers have made significant changes to the encounter. By introducing Luis as a companion character, players can use his abilities to divert the attention of one giant, granting Leon the opportunity to defeat both enemies. This revised gameplay mechanic offers a fresh and exciting way to approach the fight, delivering a more satisfying and enjoyable experience for players.

To effectively take down the two Gigantes in Resident Evil 4’s Chapter 11, players should aim to lure them toward the blast furnace trapdoor and activate it. At the same time, the giants are positioned on top. It will cause both of them to fall into the searing lava and perish instantly. Utilizing this tactic with accuracy and efficiency can help players conquer the difficult boss fight quickly and with minimal effort.

When taking down El Gigantes in Resident Evil 4, players have an alternative method at their disposal. By aiming for the creature’s heads with enough precision, players can prompt the Plagas parasites to emerge from their backs, revealing their vulnerable spots. The player can then eliminate the Gigantes by either shooting or using a knife to attack the Plagas. This strategy requires excellent accuracy and skill, but it can effectively and efficiently defeat these challenging enemies.

Some tips can also help make the battle faster and more lucrative. A critical advice is to avoid using the blast furnace during the fight, especially for players looking to amass wealth. Doing so can cause the Gigantes to lose their precious gemstones, with the armored Gigante usually dropping a red beryl and the unarmored one yielding a yellow diamond. Activating the blast furnace will destroy these valuable items, which reduces the financial incentive for players who aim to collect them.

For those who want to excel in the Dos Gigantes boss fight, it’s suggested to focus on eliminating the unarmored Gigante first. Doing so triggers a cutscene in which Luis attaches dynamite to the back of the armored Gigante, allowing players to do quick work of the armored Gigante. It is because the dynamite blast cracks open his armor, revealing his Plagas, his weak spot. Utilizing this tactic helps players conserve their resources and makes the battle more straightforward, making it a practical and effective approach to defeating both Gigantes.

Players should consider having a magnum in their inventory to increase their chances of success in the Resident Evil 4 remake’s Dos Gigantes boss fight. The Broken Butterfly or Handcannon are ideal, as they can take down a Gigante quickly and efficiently with just one round of ammunition. By incorporating a magnum into their strategy, players can effectively minimize the difficulty of the battle and progress through the game more smoothly.

In addition, using the magnum also allows players to conserve ammunition for other weapons, as they won’t need to rely on multiple rounds to take down a Gigante. The magnum’s high firepower makes it easier to hit the Plagas weak point on the Gigante’s back and deal significant damage.

However, it’s important to note that magnum ammunition can be scarce, and players should use it wisely. They should aim carefully and time their shots correctly to maximize their effectiveness. Players should also consider upgrading their magnum to increase their firepower and accuracy.

Overall, having a magnum on hand can be a valuable asset for players facing the Dos Gigantes, but it should be used judiciously and in combination with other effective strategies.
