Navigating the world of Wild Hearts, a new monster-hunting game, can be challenging, and finding and tracking materials are essential to crafting the best weapons and armor. However, one resource, Large Ore, can be complicated to locate, leaving hunters scratching their heads. But fear not. Knowing where to find this valuable material is crucial for improving your gear and defeating more brutal monsters.
Wild Hearts‘ Chapter system allows players to select which map they want to spawn into, with each map featuring different resources, including the highly sought-after Large Piece of Ore. These valuable resources appear as blue, glowing rocks scattered throughout the maps.
Large Ore is a highly sought-after resource that can be used to upgrade weapons and equipment. Players should explore specific areas in each chapter to find Large Ore in Wild Hearts.
For example, in Chapter 2, Large Ore can be found in the underground cave system near the end of the level. In Chapter 3, it can be located in the underground cave system near the beginning of the level, while in Chapter 4, Large Ore can be found in cargo containers scattered throughout the map.
The best method for farming Large Ore is to explore the maps where it can be found repeatedly. Players should use specific abilities like the Drill Dash or Energy Shield to access hard-to-reach areas and find more Large Ore. As you progress through the game’s story chapters, more maps will become available, allowing you to access even more efficient farming locations.
To make the best weapons and items in Wild Hearts, Large Ore is a crucial resource that should be considered. By exploring specific areas in each chapter and using various abilities, hunters can collect plenty of Large Ore and upgrade their gear to take on even more challenging monsters.
In Wild Hearts, players have three methods to obtain Ore, a valuable resource required for weapon upgrades. Firstly, they can harvest Ore naturally from spiky orange rocks found on the ground and the sides of cliffs in the game’s first two regions, Harugasumi Way and Natsukodachi Isle. However, these rocks have a chance to drop either Ore or Corestone, making it uncertain whether players will get Ore or not.
Secondly, players can purchase Ore from the Crimson Treasury in Minato, one of the game’s regions. Lastly, players can gather Ore from Tsukumo Ore Shrines, one of the best Dragon Karakuri in the game, and be unlocked early. These shrines send out Tsukumo to pick Ore at random locations on the map they’re placed on. Each shrine can hold up to five materials at a time, usually filled every half hour to an hour.
To efficiently and quickly acquire Ore in Wild Hearts, players must differentiate between the two types of orange rocks in the game. The jagged, spiky rocks in certain areas have a chance to drop Ore or Corestone. In contrast, the smooth rocks with an orange center only fall Small Crystal Ore. By recognizing the difference between these two types of rocks and targeting the jagged, spiky rocks in certain areas, players can improve their chances of obtaining Ore.
One of the best locations to find Ore is near the starting campsite in Harugasumi Way, the initial island in the game. By heading left from the exit of the tree trunk, beyond the training dummy, you’ll come across a wall of rock that can be destroyed using a Star Bomb Fusion Karakuri, consisting of a combination of Spring, Torch, and Spring.
Wild Hearts has two primary ways to farm Forging Materials, each with benefits and drawbacks. The first method is random and relies on chance, requiring less effort. The second method is more consistent but can be more time-consuming.
In Wild Hearts, players can unlock the Tsukumo Ore Shrines early in the game, considered some of the best Dragon Karakuri. These shrines will send out Tsukumo to collect Ore at random from the map they are placed on, with each shrine being able to hold up to 5 materials at a time.
The materials in the shrines usually refill every 30 minutes to an hour, but since the collection is random, players may only sometimes get Large Pieces of Ore.
To effectively farm for these, players can place multiple shrines at a camp location on each map and periodically check and empty them while continuing their gameplay.
The second method requires more effort and involves players devising a repeated route through a map to collect various interactable minerals before restarting the map and repeating the process. Fortunately, the Detailed Map in each Region provides a filter highlighting green dots to indicate the spawn locations for different items, including Forging Materials.
Players can plan their route by utilizing this map and their knowledge of where certain items tend to generate, such as Forging Materials commonly appearing near rocky areas.
Wild Hearts has a multi-tiered system for materials, with each map having its ecology and Forging Materials. General Forging Materials include Corestones, Ores, Large Pieces of Ore, Lumps of Ore, and Spirit Stones. Map-specific materials usually have two tiers used in low and high-rank gear.
Players can find Large Pieces of Ore in caves and rocky formations in specific maps after Chapter 3. The outcroppings of long crystals clumped together with varying colors contain a pool of Forging Materials. Significant Pieces of Ore are used for mid to late-game weapon upgrades and armor pieces. The Chapter-based mechanic can confuse players as it needs to be explained better in-game.
