Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes a fresh approach to the traditional gameplay of the popular franchise by offering players a world full of diverse challenges and exciting missions in the vast Hisui region.
One of the game’s most thrilling quests involves capturing legendary pokemon like Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, which demands players employ their strategic abilities and ingenuity to emerge victorious.
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players can partake in the “Incarnate Forces of Hisui” challenge, which requires them to confront four legendary “genies,” including the well-known Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus from the Unova region, as well as the newly introduced Enamorous. These creatures are notorious for their swift and slippery nature, challenging players of all skill levels when capturing them.
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players who successfully thwart Volo and avert a calamity in Hisui will receive a request from mistress Cogita. The objective is to catch three mythical creatures that embody natural powers, which are legendary pokemon originally from the Unova region but have moved to Hisui and are currently roaming in various locations. The challenge of this task lies in taming these powerful creatures, which requires a high level of skill and strategy on the player’s part.
Players need to follow several steps to capture Tornadus in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Initially, they must find it in the Bonechill Wastes region of the Alabaster Islands during Blizzard weather. Tornadus will then attempt to evade the player’s sight, requiring them to chase it down.
To successfully capture the legendary pokemon, players must be persistent and react quickly, using a Pokeball or throwable item to hit Tornadus and momentarily disrupt its windshield. Feather/Wing/Jet balls are recommended because they can travel long distances quickly, making it easier to catch Tornadus.
To catch it without damage, you must keep a safe distance to avoid its attacks. Once the pokemon raises its windy shield again, you should chase and throw a Pokeball until it becomes stunned. They can then send out another pokemon to battle Tornadus. During the fight, you should take advantage of Tornadus’ weakness in Ice, Electric, and Rock-type moves. These moves can quickly weaken Tornadus, increasing the likelihood of a successful capture.
To capture Thundurus, find it in the Cobalt Coastlands, close to the Pillars by the Coastland Campsite, during its Heavy Rain weather. Thundurus will try evading players by creating whirlwinds, but you should pursue it on water using Basculegion while avoiding attacks. Eventually, you can hit it with a Pokeball or other throwable items, which will briefly interrupt its windy shield. It is advisable to use Feather/Wing/Jet balls since they fly far and fast, making it easier to hit Thundurus. Once Thundurus is stunned, players can attempt to catch it using conventional methods.
It’s important to note that Thundurus is an Electric/Flying-type pokemon, so using Ice or Rock-type moves will weaken it, making it easier to capture. Once Thundurus is drained, players can charge it using conventional methods, just like with any other pokemon.
To capture Landorus in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you must search for it in the Ramnas Island area of Obsidian Fieldlands, with no particular weather conditions triggering its appearance. After locating it, you must pursue it as it tries to escape. To capture it, you must react swiftly and aim precisely to strike it with a Pokeball or other throwable object, causing a brief disruption in its windshield. Utilizing Feather/Wing/Jet balls is advisable as they travel faster and cover greater distances, increasing the likelihood of hitting Tornadus while chasing it.
