Find yourself a fan of Sony handsets? We have got great news for you especially for the Sony customer base in the USA. Sony has unveiled it’s latest release of budget handsets named the Xperia L2, Xperia XA2, and Xperia A2 ultra. The usual budget phones by Sony didn’t feature a fingerprint scanner. This was a large disappointment for many.
Looks like Sony has mended their ways and have turned up to customer wishes as it’s recent releases, feature a fingerprint scanner as well. Not only this, but you shall be happy to find upgraded specifications as well.
Sony Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra
The phones were announced on January 8 and since then, have picked up hype. This is courtesy the features devices offer for the buck. The Xperia XA2 makes use of 5.2 inch screen, while the Xperia XA2 Ultra features a 6 inch screen. Another difference between the screens is that the Xperia A2 Ultra boasts a Full HD screen while the simple Xperia A2 doesn’t.
The previous phone releases in the range by Sony were powered by Mediatek Helio chipsets. Now, the company has improved on that and switched to a Snapdragon 630 processor for its new phones. This will lead to a performance increase, as Snapdragon processors are better than MediaTek chipsets.
Not only this, but the phones will at least have a whopping 4 GB of RAM. This shall ensure a smooth performance overall and better multitasking since many applications could be opened at a time. The people in the UK would for sure love these new aspects of the phone.
Sony Xperia L2
The Sony Xperia L2 acts as kind of an intermediary when it comes to sizes between the sizes of Sony Xperia XA2 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra. It features a 5.5 inch display. The display is exactly like the predecessor which was the Sony Xperia L1. The resolution of the display is 720p, which is not bad. The noticeable difference between the successor and the predecessor would be the RAM. The Sony Xperia L2 has 3 GB of RAM. In addition to this, the new device also has upgraded it’s storage to 32 GB. Furthermore, the device also features a better camera in terms of MegaPixels which are 8.
For those interested to grab their hands on the Sony’s latest budget releases, then they shall have to wait until the end of February 2018. Mind you, the release dates are specifically for US and UK. Quite disappointingly, it’s rather not known as to what the price shall be. If previous prices are to be followed, then expect the price of the Sony Xperia L2 to be around £170 ($200) while the Sony Xperia XA2 is expected to have a price tag of £220 ($270). Also, anticipate the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra to cost you £300 ($370).
Considering the moderate price tag for a range of features, the devices are worth spending your hard-earned cash on i.e. if you are looking for the best mid-range device.
