Shiny Vullaby Pokemon Go has been available for some time, but capturing it can be a challenging task due to its scarcity. Nonetheless, during the month of November, players can increase their likelihood of obtaining a Vullaby by taking advantage of guaranteed Research Breakthrough encounters and participating in the Looming Shadow event. Some players may be curious if they can see a shiny Vullaby in the game, as they may want to add a differently colored version of the Pokémon to their collection.
Since November 9th, 2021, catching a shiny Vullaby in Pokémon Go has become possible for players. This new variant of the Diapered Pokémon and its evolution Mandibuzz was introduced during the Looming Shadow event, which took place during the Festival of Lights. With this event, players can capture the shiny versions of these Pokémon and add them to their collection, providing a fresh and exciting experience in the game.
Vullaby will be available as a Research Task encounter. To encounter Vullaby, players must complete the “Defeat a Team Go Rocket Leader” task. Accumulating three jobs before taking down a Go Rocket Leader is recommended because players can only defeat one leader per Rocket Radar. This strategy can increase the chances of encountering Vullaby and receiving it as a reward, providing a unique and exciting addition to the player’s Pokémon collection.
However, keep it in mind that there is no assurance of encountering a shiny Vullaby as it’s rarity remains unchanged, making it necessary for players to continue completing tasks and collecting stamps while hoping for luck to work in their favor. It demonstrates the importance of remaining persistent and dedicated in pursuing the elusive shiny Vullaby.
Besides encountering it in the wild, players can also obtain a shiny Vullaby by hatching Strange Eggs, which are 12km eggs acquired by defeating Team Go Rocket Leaders. Vullaby is the most frequently hatched Pokémon from Strange Eggs, with a 24.5% chance of being shiny. This highlights the significance of battling Team Go Rocket Leaders to acquire Strange Eggs and improve the chances of hatching a shiny Vullaby.
To evolve Vullaby into Mandibuzz, players must amass 50 Vullaby candies, regardless of whether the Vullaby is shiny or not. However, gathering the required candies may be difficult because Vullaby is a relatively rare Pokémon. Nonetheless, players can use the Looming Shadow Field Research encounters to obtain the necessary candies for the evolution quickly.
It’s worth noting that players can also obtain Vullaby candies by catching Vullaby in the wild or by hatching them from Strange Eggs. Additionally, players can use Rare Candies obtained by completing Raids or Field Research tasks to convert them into Vullaby candies.
Once players have obtained the necessary candies, they can evolve their Vullaby into Mandibuzz. Mandibuzz is a Dark/Flying-type Pokémon known for its high defense and unique defense stats. Inspired by a vulture, its unique design features a bone helmet and skirt made of bones. It’s a powerful and popular Pokémon among trainers and can be a valuable addition to any team.
Although getting a shiny Vullaby can be difficult, players can enhance their likelihood of getting one by fulfilling the required Research Tasks and keeping track of their weekly Field Research stamps. Players can also hatch Vullaby from Strange Eggs and catch them in the wild to accumulate the necessary candies for evolution. With enough patience and perseverance, players can obtain a shiny Vullaby and evolve it into a formidable Mandibuzz.
