In order to have Elsa, a character from the “Frozen” movie franchise, join the fictional world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must complete a quest for Anna, who is already a resident of the Valley. Anna will request that players make their way to an ice cavern which she believes could be a new home for Elsa. However, the path to the ice cavern is blocked by wooden stumps, which can only be removed with an upgraded shovel. To upgrade the shovel, players must gather various resources by completing tasks throughout the Valley, including Softwood, Hardwood, Iron Ingots, and Tinkering Parts. Once the upgraded shovel is crafted, players can clear the path and reach the ice cavern located in the Forest of Valor.
Upon reaching the ice cavern, players must take a picture of it and show it to Anna, who will then write a letter to convince Elsa to move to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players must deliver the letter to Elsa in the Frozen Realm, and upon doing so, Elsa will relocate to the Valley, and players can engage with her in various quests and activities.
